Jennifer Tom

Senior Asset Manager

Jennifer Tom is responsible for maximizing real estate value for a portfolio of $700 million of resort and commercial assets on Hawai‘i Island and Waikīkī—leading direction and execution of long-term strategies for development, leasing, and management of space and ground lease properties.

Jennifer has a background in structured finance and investment banking in New York City. At Citigroup, she underwrote assets across the United States to securitize properties in needed capital. She financed over $1 billion in asset transactions in multiple asset classes including hospitality, retail, office, multi-family, and mixed-use for stabilized and non-stabilized properties. At Jefferies & Company, Jennifer was responsible for financial analysis and deal execution in capital raising and corporate restructuring.

Fluent in Mandarin, Jennifer worked in Beijing, China with CBRE to advise clients on development feasibility studies, master planning studies, due diligence and financial analysis, and market research.

Jennifer is on the board and President-elect for the Hawai‘i CCIM Chapter. She also serves on the boards for Ka‘ūpūlehu Foundation and Waikiki Improvement Association, and committee member for Waikiki Community Center. She previously served on the board for the Hawai‘i Chapter of U.S. Green Build Council (USGBC). One of her most rewarding roles is serving as a mentor for emerging talent with CCIM and International Council of Shopping Centers.

A graduate of Punahou School, Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science in hotel administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.

Jennifer enjoys learning to play the ukulele. She is also a big supporter and learner of Hālau ‘Ōhi‘a Hawai‘i, a stewardship program to engage with our ʻāina and kānaka communities.
