Mae Nishimura

Senior Communications Specialist

Mae Nishimura develops, manages and implements strategic communications plans and services for projects and assignments to advance the goals of the Commercial Real Estate Division’s portfolio plan.

Mae has served Kamehameha Schools mission for over eight years. She previously served as marketing manager responsible for leading marketing, advertising, direct marketing, social media and print for recruitment, strategic messaging and branding campaigns. She also worked as a communications specialist within the Communications Division.

Her 22-year marketing and communication work history includes various leadership roles with Aston Hotels & Resorts, Palms Resort and Casino, and Majestic Star dba. Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel.

Mae earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Hawaiʻi Pacific University and a Master of Arts in organizational management from the University of Phoenix, Nev.

Born and raised in Kāne‘ohe, Hawai‘i, Mae spends her spare time with her husband and four-year-old son hiking and going to the beach.
