On Indigenous Peoples' Day, Kamehameha Schools Kapālama’s ongoing partnership with Nike’s N7 initiative celebrates indigenous excellence, working to inspire and enable Native youth to reach their full potential through sport, culture and community. In 2022, Nike N7 included a Kamehameha alumni and athlete in their “See Me, See Us” campaign which marked a significant moment for Native Hawaiian visibility in sport globally. KSK will now have the N7 logo on warm-up and coaches uniforms. Each game played in N7 uniforms increases visibility for Native Hawaiian youth and affirms their place in sports. The partnership also continues to connect Kamehameha Schools to a broader pan-Indigenous movement. By wearing N7 branded uniforms, Kamehameha Schools join a network of Indigenous communities working toward shared goals of representation, resilience and cultural pride.

October 3, 1887 was the first day of school for the Kamehameha School for Boys. In honor of this important milestone and to reaffirm our collective strength, our haumāna gathered to hae Hawaiʻi. In addition classroom posters were hung throughout campus reminding us of our kuleana to uphold Pauahi’s vision. These messages of strength are meant to inspire our ʻohana to remain steadfast in protecting educational opportunities for our lāhui.

Kula Ha'aha'a hosted another successful 'Ohana Night, bringing together families to build pilina, strengthen connections, and support our haumāna in their athletic and personal growth. The highlight of the night was the presentation by Keoki Fraser of the Mental Edge Sports Academy, who led an engaging and insightful discussion on: "My Child, My Role, & Positively Supporting Their Athletic Journey for Success on the Field & More Importantly in Life." His presentation to elementary parents was arranged in partnership with KSK Athletics. Keoki’s session was packed with valuable strategies for parents to help their children develop the mental strength, focus, and confidence necessary for success—both in sports and beyond.
