Alumni Reunion Celebration (formerly known as Alumni Week) is a tri-campus celebration of our Kamehameha Schools Alumni. Annually, we celebrate the cycles of graduates, classes ending in 0 and 5, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, and 4 and 9.
Our signature events are Kūpuna Pā‘ina, open to all graduating classes celebrating their 50th Reunion and older; and Lū‘au, starting with our 5th Reunion graduates at KS Kapālama, we welcome home graduates in that year’s cycle from all three campuses. In an effort to be more inclusive and engage our KS ‘ohana, the remainder of events on campus are open to all alumni to attend.
In the last few years, we have also organized celebrations at KS Maui and KS Hawai‘i, open to ALL Kamehameha Schools alumni and their ‘ohana. We have had the pleasure of seeing multiple groups of alumni huaka‘i to each campus celebration to share their aloha with classmates who may not be able to travel, and to share in the aloha each campus has to offer. When we say “Welcome Home,” we truly hope that all alumni will feel at home where ever they may be.
Registration is open from April 1 to April 15 every year. Lūʻau is typically the fastest selling event, sometimes selling out within hours of registration opening. Other events will remain open until capacity has been reached, or until it must be closed for logistical planning.

Giving is a kākou effort. Whether you’re a celebrant this year or not, we mahalo you for your commitment to provide Native Hawaiian learners with opportunities to further their education.
Each year we highlight the Class Scholarships for that celebrating cycle, however alumni are welcome to give to any scholarship they wish to by visiting pauahi.org/ways-to-give.
During the lead up to reunion, a gift of $50 or more will include a commemorative pin indicating your celebrating year.
Please visit www.ksbe.edu/alumnireunion for this year’s line-up.
A limited number of dorms are available on campus, not only due to construction, but because priority is for haumāna participating in Summer Education programs. Dorms will be offered to celebrating classes for those who have celebrated their 50th Reunion and older. Dorms may be requested during registration for as long as they are available. Once capacity has been reached, registration for dorms will be closed.
Our hotel partners on O‘ahu, neighbor islands, and a limited number of properties on the continent, have provided a corporate rate for our alumni to use year round. To access this information, please visit Lei Haliʻa Aloha (you must be a registered user as this is an alumni benefit and not available to the public).
We have had a long-standing affiliate program with Hawaiian Airlines, that benefits both the guest and the Pauahi Foundation. Select transcontinental flights may be offered a 5% discount from rack rates, and both the guest and the Pauahi Foundation will receive miles. This is an excellent benefit for haumāna and ‘ohana who may be traveling while in school, as well as alumni who are visiting home in Hawai‘i. To access this information, please visit Lei Hali‘a Aloha (you must be a registered user as this is an alumni benefit and not available to the public).
Every year, we invite our KS ‘ohana to volunteer at various events throughout the week including lū‘au. Our events are successful in part because of the kōkua we have; all kōkua is welcome and appreciated. If you are interested in offering your time and talents, please look out for opportunities to sign-up in the months leading up to Reunion. Minors may also participate as a volunteer as long as a parent or guardian is with them at all times.
Every year, classes are asked to collectively give a minimum number of hours within their community, either by volunteering with a local organization, or organizing an activity as a class. Those activities could also include kōkua during Alumni Reunion events. Give back activities can also be a part of a classes class night/day, typically the Friday prior to Lū‘au. If your class is looking for opportunities, contact the Alumni Relations Office to inquire about opportunities related to campus or students, i.e. mālama ‘āina days, Residential Life Wish List.

This new offering is an opportunity to welcome our Kamehameha Schools leadership and ‘ōiwi leaders within our communities to talk story with alumni in a town hall style gathering. Breakfast is provided at a nominal cost to guests not staying on campus (included in Dorm fees) and is open to all alumni to participate. We look forward to continuing this new activity for the second year.
