Apply to summer school

Hawai‘i Campus: Kula Kauwela
  • Non-KS students entering grades K-12 in Fall 2023 are eligible to apply below. (Kindergarteners must be 5 years old by July 31, 2023.)
  • Transitional courses for new invitees in grades K, 6 and 9 will be run by each kula separate from Summer School.
  • Courses will be offered daily, in-person and on-campus as conditions allow, except high school KS Digital and dual credit courses offered online.
Kapālama Campus: Hālau
Kūkalaulama
  • Non-KS students entering grades 1-8 in Fall 2023 are eligible to apply below. Courses will NOT be offered for non-KS students entering grades 9-12.
  • Courses will be offered in-person, on-campus as conditions allow. Only morning courses will be offered.
Maui Campus: Hālau ‘o Kapikohānaiāmālama
  • Non-KS students entering grades K-12 in Fall 2023 are eligible to apply below. (Kindergarteners must be 5 years old by July 31, 2023.)
  • Courses will be offered in-person, on-campus as conditions allow.

Ancestry verification

Kamehameha Schools’ admissions policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law. If you would like your child to be considered under that policy, your child’s Hawaiian ancestry must be verified by Kamehameha’s Ho‘oulu Verification Services.
