Tropical Storm Lala update #4 – Hawaiʻi Island sites remain closed; Most other sites reopen Tuesday

Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha’s campus, preschools, and resource centers on Hawaiʻi Island, as well as our resource centers at Māʻili and Windward Mall, will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 18. All other campuses, preschools, and offices across Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, and Maui Nui will reopen and return to normal operations.

Kamehameha haumāna connect with culture and each other at ʻAha ʻŌpio

For the thousands of people who attended, the 25th annual Native Hawaiian Convention was a chance to connect with culture — and each other. That also proved true for hundreds of ʻōpio, including a large contingent of haumāna from all three Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha campuses who took part in the ʻAha ʻŌpio, a stylized youth experience.
